Mexican Independence Day, a Bicentennial celebration at the Dance Palace Scintillating salsa and cumbia music of Los Compas. This year commemorates the 200th anniversary of Mexican Independence and the 100th anniversary of the Mexican Revolution. The crisp, energetic, tight-knit is said to be one of the one of the hardest working bands in the San Francisco scene. Toluma Farm Monthly Guided Tour Visit the milking parlor before hiking up to see does and bucks and kids on the first and only goat dairy in Marin. The herd of 200 goats, (Nubian, Saanen, Alpine, and LaMancha), grazes on organically certified pastureland. Learn about all things goat as well as the significance of pasture rotation. Guests are allowed a longer hike along the top of the property and are encouraged to bring a picnic lunch. The recently rehabilitated ranch is now part of MALT's agricultural easement family.
