MARSHALL –A serious northwest windstorm blew inland shortly after midnight. Reports of trees down blocking roads come into dispatch one shortly after another. Tree down reported at 2:02 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 blocking both lanes of Marshall-Petaluma Road cross of Shoreline Highway.

INVERNESS – Residents report at 2:43 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 Manka’s was in flames. Most buildings at the Lodge and Restaurant were gutted. Story posted in West Marin News.

TOMALES – Another tree down reported at 2:46 a.m., Wednesday Dec. 27 blocking Dillon Beach Road.

TOMALES – Another tree down reported at 3:45 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 blocking Tomales-Petaluma Road.

MARSHALL – 12/27, 4:38 am, A different tree down reported at 4:38 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 blocking both lanes of Shoreline Highway but no wires are involved. Deputy winds up on wrong side of the tree. Several other trees reported down both north and south of Nick’s Cove, on Dillon Beach Road, Sir Francis Drake (Levee Road) near Inverness and Inverness Park. Other trees reported down on Sir Francis Drake between Woodside and Nicasio. Widespread power outages reported. In some places power was not restored until Thursday.

NICASIO – A caller at 7:33 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 reported possible structure fire with wires down in a small building. Marin County Fire dispatched.

LAGUNITAS – A resident discovered at 7:46 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 a tree fallen into a cottage at a residence on Barranca Road. Marin County Fire responded. Crews worked for hours to reach the body of a woman crushed by the old oak tree. Firefighters didn’t know if the woman’s boyfriend was possibly in the house with her. A frantic search was made by Sheriff’s Deputies of hospitals, the jail, neighbors and friends. He returned near 5 p.m. to be told of her death. He was very distraught.

DILLON BEACH – A woman at 12:47 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 reported her ex-boyfriend punched her in the face following a dispute. The incident occurred in August. Deputy spoke with the woman and explained domestic violence law and the Sheriff’s obligation to conduct an investigation. She declined to provide details for an investigation at this time.

BOLINAS – A resident at 2:21 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 reported his older model Buick stolen some time in the last two days from in front of his residence. A petty theft report taken.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 6:16 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 reported a solicitor at her door asking for money for an unknown charity. Area check requested. Deputy was unable to locate.

WOODACRE – A resident at 6:20 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 27 reported an ongoing problem with a neighbor over a generator running all night while the power was out. The resident asked the neighbor to turn it off, but was ignored.

NICASIO – A tree reported at 8:56 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 265 down on Nicasio Valley Road.

MUIR WOODS – A resident at 9:41 a.m. Monday Dec. 25 reported his Honda parked in the driveway had the passenger window broken. $500 in items taken. Report taken.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 3:22 p.m. Monday Dec. 25 reported an ongoing problem with loud music. Resident said Deputy had already made contact with the loud music makers but the music was turned up right after he left. Deputy again makes contact with group having a small Christmas dinner outside. About 20 people were on hand. Deputy judged the music volume not excessive, but the homeowner agreed to turn down the stereo.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 3:50 p.m. Monday Dec. 25 reported a loose cow on Levee Road at Shoreline Highway. Deputy checked, found a cow on the correct side of the fence.

POINT REYES STATION – A bartender at 4:09 p.m. Monday Dec. 25 reported an unruly customer at an establishment on Shoreline Highway who threatened to throw furniture around. While on the phone the unruly customer left. He was with a large group that is restraining him. The group left before the Deputy arrived.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident of Mesa Road at 10:38 p.m. Monday Dec. 25 reported a loud party going all day. Deputy responded and the music was turned down.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident of Mesa Road at 12:50 a.m. Sunday Dec. 24 reported an ongoing problem with two homeless men camping across the street from her house. The men were abusive and obstreperous. Deputy arrested one man for public drunkenness.

POINT REYES STATION – Highway Patrol reported at 3:41 p.m. Sunday Dec. 24 to Marin County Sheriff's Office a vehicle was stopped on Pt. Reyes-Petaluma Road by CHP for a possible drunken driver. Driver failed sobriety test, vehicle was towed and driver hauled off to jail.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 5:41 p.m. Sunday Dec. 24 reported his home on Panoramic Highway burgled. Resident’s car while parked in his driveway had a window broken and several items including a backpack containing keys taken. House entered and several guns taken. Report taken.

POINT REYES NPS – National Park Service at 10:22 p.m. Saturday Dec. 22 responded to a fight fueled by alcohol. A possible assault with a car resulted in one man struck but not hurt. Another man arrested for public drunkenness.

MARSHALL – A resident at 10:34 a.m. Saturday Dec.24 reported four cows on Shoreline Highway. He also reported 35-feet of fence needed fixing to keep the cows in.

BOLINAS – A man at 11:47 p.m. Saturday Dec. 23 flagged down a Highway Patrol car because he hadn’t been able to contact his brother in four days. He had driven up to Bolinas from the Bay Area. Deputies discovered the brother dead at a residence on Elm.

POINT REYES STATION –A resident at 5:47 p.m. Friday Dec. 22 reported a man living in an older model white camper truck. Deputy checked and found no one inside. Vehicle’s expired registration was to a known homeless man on probation for public drunkenness.

HICKS VALLEY – A motorist at 8:21 a.m. Wednesday Dec. 20 reported a vehicle flipped over on its hood on Marshall-Petaluma Road. Motorist reported the tailpipe was still hot and was concerned the driver may have been thrown overboard. He attempted cell phone contact with owner. Motorist reaches the driver who was not injured. Referred to CHP.

MARSHALL – A fisherman at 3:48 p.m. Wednesday Dec.20 reported a possible dead body in the water. Deputies checked and found a mannequin.

OLEMA – A resident at 5:59 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 20 reported a homeless woman asking someone to take her home. Resident reported that she is not bothering anyone but that he is concerned for her welfare. This is the same homeless woman who was moved along from Pt. Reyes Station by Deputies last week. She was transported to Four Points Sheraton in San Rafael and dropped off.

BOLINAS – A woman wanted on a felony arrest warrant was reported at 9:31 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 20 at a residence on Mesa Road. Deputy went and hooked her up. She was booked into Marin County jail on a $200,000 warrant for assaulting a Bolinas woman. The Bolinas woman was hospitalized with her injuries.

INVERNESS – Inverness Fire Dept. at 8:59 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 19 reported finding a smashed laptop computer. Deputies checked to see if stolen. No reported stolen laptop on file with that serial number.

TOMALES –A motorist at 11:36 p.m. Dec. 19 reported a calf on Chileno Valley Road. Deputy checked with local dairy. Calf relocated itself to the side of the road. No further action.

OLEMA –A motorist at 12:27 p.m. Monday Dec. 18 reported a large black and white cow ambling down Sir Francis Drake toward Olema. Deputy was unable to locate the livestock.

POINT REYES STATION – A passerby at 12:31 p.m. Monday Dec. 18 reported a large dog locked in a car with the windows all up. Dog was barking for at least an hour. Humane alerted. Deputy was unable to locate dog or car.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 2:22 p.m. Monday Dec. 18 reported finding a purse under a truck on Shoreline Highway, downtown Pt. Reyes Station. Deputy picked up the purse and called the owner. Grateful owner picked up her purse intact.

POINT REYES STATION – Several residents and local workers at 3:47 p.m. Monday Dec. 18 reported a small stampede of 50 black and white cows around the Dance Palace and along Papermill Creek area. A farmhand was enlisted to help corral the animals. Cows herded back to their pasture.

WOODACRE – A resident at 5:32 p.m. Monday Dec. 18 reported a barking dog. Resident reported the dog as an ongoing problem. Deputy was unable to locate any barking dog.

INVERNESS PARK – A resident at 9:43 p.m. Monday Dec. 18 reported hearing gunshots and seeing flashes of light. Deputy checked the area and all was quiet.

NICASIO – A woman resident at 9:04 a.m. Sunday Dec. 17 called 911. A man and woman could be heard fighting. The woman warned the man she was reporting him and he would go to jail. Deputy arrested the man for assaulting the woman. There was no visible evidence of the assault.

MUIR BEACH – A passerby at 11:17 a.m. Sunday Dec. 17 reported a mountain bike rider down with a possible neck injury. Reporting party said the best access was with a 4WD near the Pelican Inn. Patient transported to hospital by Marin County Fire.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 7:29 p.m. Sunday Dec. 17 reported a man apparently sleeping in front of her barn on Mesa Road. She didn’t know if medical aid was needed. Deputy moved along the man who said he was on his way to Auburn.

POINT REYES STATION – An A St. resident at 8:29 am Saturday Dec. 16 reported a black and white cow loose walking toward Mesa Road. Giacomini ranch notified. Deputy was unable to locate the cow.

WOODACRE – A resident of Madrone Ave. at 4:59 p.m. Saturday Dec. 16 reported a newly planted row of large cactus destroyed. Resident said the cacti were really big and a shovel and sharp objects were needed to cause that amount of damage. The uprooted plants were thrown into the street. Resident said he heard noises a 3:15 a.m.

NICASIO – A resident at 5:23 p.m. Saturday Dec. 16 reported her daughter bucked off a horse. The young girl is conscious and breathing with a possible leg injury. Marin County Fire was asked to respond carefully since there was a loose horse in the area. Patient transported to hospital.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 9:06 p.m. Saturday Dec. 16 reported an ongoing problem with barking dogs on Shoreline Highway. He wants to sign a complaint.

BOLINAS – A woman at 10: 37 a.m. Friday Dec. 15 reported she had been hit by a youth with a piece of firewood. She was bleeding but declined medical attention. The youth was cited for assault and released.

MARSHALL – A resident at 1:53 p.m. Friday Dec. 15 reported four mailboxes, including his, smashed overnight. Report taken.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 3:59 p.m. Friday Dec. 15 reported a credit card fraud. Report taken for penal code 484 violation.

INVERNESS PARK – A resident at 7:43 p.m. Friday Dec. 15 reported his adult son is making suicide threats. The son had taken an overdose of prescription drugs. Son had been in and out of the house and was outside. Fire Department staged nearby. Son located and transported to Unit B – Crisis Unit.

WOODACRE – A resident at 1:05 p.m. Thursday Dec. 14 reported a set of barking dogs from two different neighbors. When Deputy arrived both dogs were quiet, though they did bark when he got out of his vehicle.


Posted Saturday Dec. 16, 2006 --------

BOLINAS – A resident at 7:29 a.m., Monday Dec. 11 reported a woman screaming. Another resident also heard the screams. Deputy Steve DeBrunner determines the screams were from a woman who was wanted about an earlier fight incident. She was not located and is still at large.

BOLINAS – A motorist at 7:31 a.m. Monday Dec. 11 reported a rockslide just north of Volunteer Canyon on Shoreline Highway.

STINSON BEACH – At 9:25 a.m. Monday Dec. 11 a report of a suspicious vehicle brought a deputy out to check. Deputy was unable to locate.

WOODACRE –A resident at 11:51 a.m. Monday Dec. 11 described a trespasser to a dispatcher. Deputy responded but was unable to locate.

STINSON BEACH – A homeowner at 1:51 p.m. Monday Dec. 11 reported burglary and vandalism at his home that under construction. Homeowner described copper water pipes cut and a 12-inch segment of piping removed. Extra patrols are scheduled due to multiple burglaries in the area.

POINT REYES NATIONAL SEASHORE – A large search and rescue operation was launched at 7:33 a.m. Sunday Dec. 10 to look for George LeChuck. He had been missing for 30 days and searches were started then. LeChuck's car was found at North Beach parking. Rangers checked to contact the owner at his San Jose residence. They were unable to contact and were notified by San Jose Police that Mr. LeChuck was missing. The Search and Rescue operation was a recheck in case LeChuck was camped in an out of the way sand dune. LeChuck was not found. Ranger Gus Conde said rangers are fairly certain LeChuck is not at the Seashore. Since he has gone missing there have been heavy rains which would drive most campers to shelter. Beachcombers and the Christmas Bird Count have thoroughly scoured the park. They would have come across LeChuck if he had met an unfortunate fate.

BOLINAS – A motorist at 7:41 a.m. Sunday Dec. 10 reported to Highway Patrol a large cow on Shoreline Highway across from McKenna's Gulch. Highway Patrol had an extended response time and requested Marin County Sheriff Deputies to respond. Deputy checked the area but was unable to locate a loose cow.

SAN GERONIMO – A motorist at 7:58 a.m. Sunday Dec. 10 reported a solo vehicle spun out and overturns. One man was trapped in the vehicle. The spinning car sheared off a power pole and brought down power lines. A Marin County Fire paramedic assisted the patient until he was extricated and taken to hospital.

DILLON BEACH – A man at 11:51 a.m. on Sunday Dec. 10 called from the payphone in front of Lawson's Store. He reported a shark had bitten a man. The victim was with a lifeguard. The victim was wearing a wetsuit and couldn't see the extent of his injuries. Marin County Fire Tomales Station Volunteers and Sheriff’s Deputy were dispatched to assist the victim. Victim’s surfboard took most of the bite and he declined medical treatment. See Story in Breaking News.

TOMALES – A resident at 3:42 p.m. Sunday Dec. 10 reported some vehicles driven by juveniles or young adult were driving recklessly on Dillon Beach Road near Middle Road. The reporting party believed the drivers are from Tomales High School.

MARSHALL – A resident at 12:32 a.m. Saturday Dec. 9 reported a large black cow standing in the paved pullover on Shoreline Highway at mile marker 35.81. Deputy found the roadway clear to north end of Marshall – another four miles.

BOLINAS – A motorist at 8:34 p.m. Saturday Dec. 9 reported a cow in the roadway on Shoreline Highway at Horseshoe Hill. Highway Patrol had an extended response time and asked Sheriff’s Deputies to handle. Deputy located the cow and attempted contact with two ranches in the area. One didn't have cows and the other couldn't be reached. Owner located after database search by dispatchers of possible addresses.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 8:43 a.m. Saturday Dec. 9 reported a lot of surfers are in the area -- many parked illegally. Resident was upset with the rude responses when he surfer dudes asked to move their vehicles. Surfers, later, reported to be leaving the area. Deputy gave advice.

MARSHALL – A resident at 9:31 a.m. Saturday Dec. 9 reported a house he is having built was broken into a few days ago and a few items are missing. Report taken.

FOREST KNOLLS – A resident at 6:03 p.m. Saturday Dec. 9 reported her barn door broken and the building entered. She was unable to close the barn door after her goods were taken. Many household and tack items were gone. No horse involved. Report taken.

INVERNESS – A resident at 7:52 p.m. Friday Dec. 8 reported a man missing. He reported his neighbor didn’t return after the neighbor had rowed out in his dinghy to check on his sailboat. The resident reported the dinghy drifted ashore. Coast Guard sent two motorlife boats and a helicopter. Man was rescued by Coast Guard 29-foot RHIB (rigid hull inflatable boat).

OLEMA – A motorist at 11:32 p.m. Friday Dec. 10 reported a large tree down in the roadway on Shoreline Highway. Deputy removed a large branch and blocked traffic restarted.

STINSON BEACH – A man at 11:09 a.m. Friday Dec. 8 reported he was assaulted last Saturday. The man who was a regular customer at a local eatery said the assault occurred when he left a 12 percent tip. A man came running out of the restaurant yelling and pushed him to the ground. The waitress had complained to another patron who then assaulted the frugal diner. The tipper wanted to make a report. Report taken. Waititrons wreak their revenge. See www.bitterwaitress.com

INVERNESS – A resident at 4:31 p.m. Thursday Dec. 7 reported a break-in. Thieves broke into a bar cabinet and left with only $12. Report taken.

SAN GERONIMO – A son at 5:34 p.m. Thursday Dec. 7 reported his father assaulted him. The father was drunk. They argued. Dad then choked and punched him. Son refused medical assistance. Report taken.

POINT REYES STATION – An office employee at 1:49 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 6 reported an older woman was not wanted at the offices and does not want to leave. The woman moved to a bench at the front door. Deputy moved subject along.

POINT REYES STATION – An employee of another business at 3:03 p.m. Wednesday Dec. 6 reported the same woman has been coming into all day wanting a ride back to the Limantour hostel. The woman also claims someone stole a bag of groceries from her that was in front of the business. Deputies do not respond. The woman has been told numerous times over several days there will be no ride provided.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 9:23 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 5 reported hearing a woman scream for help. A couple was heard having an argument and throwing items at each other. When Deputy arrived both parties had retreated indoors and toned down the fight.

POINT REYES STATION – A Coast Guard officer at 7:29 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 5 called deputies seeking advice about a complaint made by a resident on the base. Deputy gave civil advice for trespassing.

WOODACRE – A resident at 10:53 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 5 called seeking advice about shooting squirrels in a residential area. Advice given.

STINSON BEACH – An arrest was made at 11:37 a.m. Tuesday Dec. 5 on an outstanding warrant on Francisco Patio.

POINT REYES STATION – A storeowner at 2:26 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 5 reported his security alarm was activated at 9:45 p.m. Friday Dec. 1. See entry below. A review of the security video footage disclosed a woman had hidden in the store until after closing. She caused the alarm activation when she left. The woman was possibly an irate customer that was in the store earlier.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident 5:31 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 5 at Coast Guard Station reported finding a handprint that does not belong to either party living at the residence. This is a follow up call about the 7:29 a.m. entry.

NICASIO – A resident at 6:34 p.m. Tuesday Dec. 5 reported an ongoing barking dog problem. Resident supplied the phone numbers of the dog owner. Deputy called and advised.

TOMALES – A Marin County Road department worker at 8:04 a.m. Monday Dec. 4 reported two black and white cows on the shoulder of Tomales-Petaluma Road. Deputies called a local dairy to locate cow owner.

BOLINAS – A man at 10:40 a.m. Monday Dec. 4 is arrested on Wharf Road for being under the influence of marijuana. Deputy also suspects a psychological problem and notifies jail personnel. Man was placed on a 5150PC psych hold.

INVERNESS – A resident at 11:24 a.m. Monday Dec. 4 reported the theft of 14 gold coins from his residence. Resident said the theft occurred within the last three months. Coins valued at $8000. Report taken.

WOODACRE – A motorist at 12:15 p.m. Monday Dec. 4 reported a van overturned on Sir Frances Drake Blvd. The van was hanging upside down with an elderly couple trapped inside. Motorist reported the van was down the embankment and held up by a tree. Marin County Fire responds code three and transports the couple to the emergency room. Couple shaken up but only minor injuries. Social worker checks on the couple the next day.

LAGUNITAS – A neighbor at 5:09 p.m. Monday Dec. 4 reported a residence on fire. The home on El Cerrito is fully involved with flames coming from the windows. Deputy reported from the scene with homeowner who reports no one else in the residence. Marin County Fire responds code three and contains the fire.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 5:59 p.m. Monday Dec. 4 reported an ongoing barking dog problem. Dog was barking for an hour until dog owner returned home. Resident will make a formal complaint.

FOREST KNOLLS – A woman at 11:50 a.m. Sunday Dec. 3 reported her husband assaulted her. She said he was violent at their home earlier. She reported he is on medication but had not been drinking today and there were no weapons present. Deputy arrested the husband.

WOODACRE – A resident at 11:21 p.m. Saturday Dec. 2 reported an unwanted man at her residence. The man, a former employee, was found at the resident’s house that is under construction. The man said he was counting “Christmas tree lights.” He entered through a boarded-up door. Deputy moved him along.

STINSON BEACH – An employee at 7:28 a.m. Saturday Dec. 2 reported a man, possibly drunk, taking things out of a van in the parking lot. Employee suspects the items do not belong to the man.

POINT REYES STATION – A storeowner on Shoreline Hwy at 9:20 a.m. Saturday Dec. 2 reported someone broke a package scale and threw trash all over the lobby. Deputy took a vandalism report.

BOLINAS – A resident at 12:52 p.m. Saturday Dec. 2 reported someone using tools to break into an old school bus. Resident thinks the man is trying to hot wire the bus. Resident is sure the man is not the owner of the bus.

BOLINAS – A Community Center worker at 12:58 p.m. Saturday Dec. 2 reported a man was rude and causing problems at the free box. She reported the man was stumbling and appeared intoxicated. Deputy made contact with the man – who was not drunk – who agreed to leave town and not come back.

BOLINAS – A resident at 2:18 p.m. Dec. 2 reported a possibly drunk woman in front of her residence. When Deputy arrived another man – who was quite drunk – was also present. Deputy called the Helen Vine detox center to arrange a placement for the man. By the time the Deputy finished processing the man, the woman had pulled herself together and left the area.

BOLINAS – A resident at 5:18 p.m. Saturday Dec. 2 reported a man has been staying on the beach for the past week in an orange tent. For the past hour the man has been fighting with his tent, cussing and shouting at himself. When Deputy arrived, only the tent was present.

POINT REYES STATION – A security alarm at a store on Shoreline Highway alerted deputies at 9:23 p.m. Friday Dec. 1. Deputies found the front door unlocked. They checked the entire store and found no one. Storeowner notified who responded to secure the building. See entry for 2:26 p.m. Dec. 5.

OLEMA – A motorist at 9:29 p.m. Friday Dec. 1 reported a black cow on Shoreline Highway.

INVERNESS – A resident at 1:15 p.m. Friday Dec. 1 reported the registration was stolen from her car last Sunday night. Report taken.

INVERNESS – A resident at 8:08 p.m. Thursday Nov. 30 reported a dog barking for the past three hours. When Deputy arrives no dog, no barking. Contact made with a dog owner walking her dogs. She was warned of County Ordinance. Resident did not press charges.


 

Posted Friday Dec. 1, 2006 --------

WOODACRE – Marin County Fire Department at 3:11 p.m. Saturday Nov. 25 reported a set of night vision goggles and a case of road flares taken overnight from a truck parked outside. Later the same day the Woodacre Improvement Club reported three flares found in their pool.

STINSON BEACH – Well after dark, hikers on Saturday Nov. 25 reported two of their group missing. Missing hiker’s car was found at the Pantol Ranger Station. Deputy called the missing hikers on their cell phone. They had lost their way in the dark. Hikers were told to stay put and Deputy would come to them.

PETALUMA-PT. REYES ROAD – A motorist at 12:25 p.m. Sunday Nov. 26 reported a motorcycle crash near the cheese factory. Injured rider was transported to Marin General Hospital.

INVERNESS – A resident at 9:13 a.m. Sunday Nov. 26 reported noise from the residence across the street. She reported that workers were using movers and blowers on a Sunday. Deputy advised noisemakers.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 5:32 p.m. Monday Nov. 27 reported her brother’s ex-girlfriend has been calling her over the past two days. Calls at 1 and 3 am were threatening. Deputy called the ex-girlfriend and left an appropriate message.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 4:50 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 29 reported a burglary. He said the theft took place between 8 and 11 am that morning. About $30,000 in household goods, jewelry, electronics and some cash taken. Entry made through an unlocked back door.

 

 

Posted Saturday Nov. 25, 2006 ---------

BOLINAS – A bar patron at 8:27 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 22 reported a woman took her purse and ran. Victim described the purse-snatcher wearing a white dress and cowboy boots. Victim said the snatcher sleeps on a bench at the little church. Purse-snatcher is arrested after Deputy interviewed witnesses that described the theft. The witnesses identified the culprit. The purse, however, was not recovered.

BOLINAS – A resident at 4 p.m. Monday, Nov. 20 reported another woman beat her up. She said this other woman walked into her house and hit her in the head several times and punched her with her fist in the sides and stomach. The assailant also kicked resident in the head and back while she held a knife. Resident reported the woman had been hanging around the house for several days and was asked to leave. The resident was transported to Marin General Hospital for treatment of her injuries. The resident described her assailant and said she was headed downtown. Deputies were unable to locate. The next day the resident reported she was fearful for her life and needed advice. Deputy advised.

NICASIO – A resident at 4:31 p.m. Monday Nov. 20 reported her purse taken from her unlocked car. A co-worker witnessed two men with mustaches loitering near the car but did not see them take the purse. Witness could provide no further information.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 2:06 a.m. Sunday Nov. 19 reported a loud party nearby. Resident stated he went to the party house and asked them to keep it down, without any luck. Deputy arrived and shut down the party. The renter agreed to keep it quiet. Association security warned the renter of a fine by the association because of the complaint.

TOMALES – At 4:04 a.m., Saturday Nov. 18 the Sonoma County Sheriff reported a victim of an assault. The victim had been taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital with serious injuries. The incident arose out of a party at the Tomales Bay Park near Nick’s Cove. A man’s ex-girlfriend pinned him between two cars. Friends drove him to Two Rock Coast Guard Station. From there he was taken to Petaluma Valley Hospital. Highway patrol was notified to take a vehicle report and determined the incident was an assault with injuries. Deputies arrested the woman for battery. Deputies were still investigating. It was unclear if the woman was really the man’s ex-girlfriend.

NICASIO – A resident at 10:15 a.m. Saturday Nov. 18 reported an ongoing problem with neighbors operating loud dirt bikes too close to his home. Resident requested advice. Advice given.

BOLINAS – An anonymous caller at 5:43 p.m. Saturday Nov. 18 reported a medium-sized campfire on the beach with six to eight juveniles attending. He reported they didn’t appear to be a nuisance. Deputy was unable to locate.

BOLINAS – A resident at 8:19 p.m. Saturday Nov. 18 reported juveniles in the street being loud after a reggae concert. The resident reported juveniles racing cars up and down the street. He requested extra patrols for the night. About the same time another resident reported 20-30 juveniles in front of his house drinking.

INVERNESS – A resident at 9:48 p.m. Saturday Nov. 18 reported a loud music coming from a boat. He said the boat would be easy to find – just follow the music. Deputy met with responsible boat denizen who agreed to turn down the music and keep it down.

LAGUNITAS – An injured raccoon at 10:03 p.m. Saturday Nov. 18 was reported along Sir Francis Drake Blvd. The reporting party called to cancel since the raccoon had returned to the creek.

BOLINAS – A resident at 11:23 p.m. Saturday Nov. 18 walked into the Bolinas Community Center bleeding from his face. He said four men jumped him at his house. When Deputy and Fire units arrive the victim was gone. Deputy was unable to locate.

 BOLINAS – A vacation homeowner at 9:40 a.m., Friday Nov. 17 reported his residence entered and a $50,000 Steinway piano taken. Homeowner learned of the burglary from his housekeeper. Later the homeowner called back to report the matter was all a misunderstanding. Piano movers went to the wrong house.

BOLINAS – A resident at 8:44 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 15 reported two vehicles “illegally parked.” Deputy was unable to make contact on return call.

INVERNESS PARK – A citizen at 10:35 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 15 reported parking problems. Deputy gave three vehicles warning notices about traffic violations.

BOLINAS – A resident at 5:16 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 15 reported an ongoing problem with a man living in an older model motor home. Deputy contacted the man who says he is not in violation of County Ordinance about habitation in vehicles. Resident said they would contact owner of property for further action.

BOLINAS – A resident at 5:18 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 15 reported a dark green 4x4 driving on the beach.

DOGTOWN – A firefighter at 7:02 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 15 reported a small jersey cow, brown in color at the shoulder. Deputy assisted putting animal back in its pen.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 7:51 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 14 reported theft of a “high ram.” The unit was attached to a backhoe. No keys were in the backhoe. “High ram” was last seen the previous afternoon. Report taken for theft of backhoe attachment valued at $15,000.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 9:23 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 14 reported a dog bite. A growling yellow lab with a green collar bit her. The lab was in her front yard and she was afraid to leave for work. Deputy called Humane Dept. Resident then reported the dog had run off. Dog cornered by Humane and caught. Dog owner will face charges.

STINSON BEACH – A resident 7:33 p.m. Tuesday Nov. 14 requested advice about several break-ins in the area. Resident said that neighbors want to “take action in their own hands.” Advice given.

STINSON BEACH – A contractor at 8:38 a.m. Monday Nov. 13 reported tools taken from contractor’s lock box overnight. Contractor reported vandalism to doors and other building materials.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 11:56 a.m. Monday Nov. 13 reported a burglary. Tools taken from her home valued at $15,000. Tools were last seen this past Saturday. Report taken on unknown burglar entering locked residence.

NICASIO –A motorist at 4:17 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 14 reported four or five cows in the Pt Reyes-Petaluma Road. Deputy checked from Pt Reyes to Nicasio Square Road and was unable to locate.

BOLINAS – A resident at 10:04 a.m. Sunday Nov. 12 reported a van has been parked across from her residence for the past 2 to 3 months with a man without visible hair living in it. Deputy checked but was unable to locate the hairless man.

INVERNESS PARK – A resident at 12:04 a.m. Sunday Nov. 12 reported hearing a crash from her neighbor’s home. She thinks they should be home and was concerned for their welfare. Deputy checks and found the neighbors are not home and all is secure. Cause of crash unknown.

BOLINAS – A resident at 12:08 p.m. Sunday Nov. 12 reported a man repairing a vehicle on College of Marin property adjacent to her home. When she asked him to move, he refused. Deputy gave advice.

TOMALES – A resident of Chileno Valley Road at 8:57 p.m. Sunday Nov. 13 reported a verbal altercation with his roommate’s girlfriend. She threatened to stab him in the leg with a kitchen knife. Roommate and his girlfriend then left the residence. Resident given advice about getting a temporary restraining order.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 10:01 p.m. Saturday Nov. 11 reported that the lights went out at his residence and someone came into the house, “scuffled” with him and took his wallet. He had $15,000 to $25,000 in cash. Resident said he might have been hit over the head and that maybe someone knew he was in the middle of transferring money. Deputy takes report for robbery. While investigating Deputy found the wallet in another part of the residence. Deputy concludes this was a mistaken report by the resident. Incident closed.

PT. REYES-PETALUMA ROAD – A caller at 12:58 p.m. Saturday Nov. 11 reported a fully-involved car fire near Petaluma. Sonoma County did not have a report or better location. When Deputy arrived the car was completely consumed. There were no plates or visible VIN on the car. Remains towed.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 12:15 p.m. Saturday Nov. 11 reported receiving two calls from an “Officer of the Stinson Beach Police Dept.”  Caller solicited personal information. Suspicious resident wanted advice since there is no Stinson Beach Police Dept. Deputy gaves advice about possible solutions.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 6:31 pm Saturday Nov. 11 reported fireworks coming from a house with a long driveway. There were 10 cars parked along the driveway. Deputy was unable to locate fireworks.

POINT REYES STATION – Point Reyes Station Deputies at 1:30 p.m. Friday Nov. 10 responded to Bank of Petaluma for a silent alarm. Alarm alerts deputies if robbery in progress. Employee accidentally set off the alarm.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 7:43 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 8 reported a three hours of barking dog next door. Resident wanted to sign a formal complaint. Report taken.

WOODACRE – A resident at 8:17 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 8 reported receiving a call from a woman who threatened to beat him up. She said she was at Woodacre Market and if he did not show up she would come to his house and beat him. Deputy was unable to locate. 

NICASIO – A resident at 10:34 a.m. Wednesday Nov. 8 called seeking advice about speeding cars and motorcycles in the area where children are present. Deputy advised to also call Highway Patrol. Deputy scheduled extra patrols in the area.

BOLINAS – A resident at 1:34 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 8 reported a friend had fallen in the backyard of resident’s home. On second call resident reports this wasn’t a fall. Resident was working on a ladder and friend was below him. Resident’s hammer broke and the falling hammer hit his friend. Marin County Fire Department and Bolinas Volunteers responded with medical aid.

POINT REYES STATION – A caller at 3:49 a.m. Tuesday Nov 7 reports to Highway Patrol a black and white cow on Shoreline Highway south of Point Reyes Station. Deputy herds the heifer back onto the Genazzi Ranch.

LAGUNITAS – A resident reported at 4:09 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 7 reported she was advised by her bank that her Social Security number was used to apply for credit. Report taken.

BOLINAS – A resident at 7:53 p.m. Wednesday Nov. 7 reported her vehicle vandalized. She said her side mirrors were broken off and the windshield wipers twisted off. Vandalism was while resident away for two days. The resident requested extra patrols. Deputy advised on what appears to be an isolated incident.

NICASIO –A resident at 2:59 p.m. Tuesday Oct. 31 reported an ongoing problem with neighbors who have been trespassing. She found bushes uprooted and paint markers on her property. Deputy advised.

NICASIO – A Marin County Fire Department Battalion Chief at 2:59 p.m. Sunday Oct 29 requested a Deputy respond code three for a verbal altercation on Nicasio Square. Two men had a dispute involving property damage incident that escalated to road rage.

POINT REYES STATION – Petaluma Police Department at 12:26 p.m. Sunday Oct 29 requested Marin County Sheriff's Deputies arrest a man at his workplace for domestic assault. Deputies make arrest and transfer the man to the custody of the Petaluma Police Department.

BOLINAS – A resident at 2:43 a.m. Sunday Oct 29 reported hearing three gunshots to the south of her property. Another resident called to report fireworks going off near the Bolinas Lagoon. Deputy was unable to locate.

WOODACRE – A resident at 10:16 a.m. Sunday Oct 29 reported his father just assaulted him. The 21-year old man said his father had disabled his vehicle so he cannot leave. Resident gave a description and direction of travel of his father.

BOLINAS – A resident at 8:31 p.m. Saturday Oct. 28 reported a large group of people headed to the beach. Deputy made contact with group of 35 and advised them of complaint. Deputy asked them to put out bonfire. The group was cooperative -- no further action necessary.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 8:15 p.m. Saturday Oct 28 reported five to six barking dogs at a neighbor’s. Resident said this is an ongoing problem. The dog owner is not home. The resident signed a formal complaint against dog owner.

BOLINAS – A man at 9:41 p.m. Friday Oct 27 was arrested on Wharf Road for public drunkenness. He gets a free ride to Marin County Jail for detoxification.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 5:32 p.m. Friday Oct. 27 reported she accidentally stabbed herself with deer horns. She said she fell down the stairs while carrying the horns. She unlocked the front door and put a rag over the wound. The 74-year old woman was advised to not remove the horns. She is feeling faint. Marin County Fire, Tomales Volunteer Fire and Bodega Bay ambulance respond code three. She was transported to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital.

FOREST KNOLLS – A person at 4:27 p.m. Friday Oct. 27 reported anonymously that seven youths sitting near the basketball court smoking pot. When the reporting party looked their way they acted aggressively and yelled. The group described as 14 to 17 years old with two females and five males. Deputy observed and saw no violations.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 7:39 p.m. Thursday Oct. 26 reported a lock snapped off her house. She reported that nothing appeared to be taken. She did not know if anyone entered her home.

POINT REYES STATION – A motorist at 10:38 a.m. Thursday Oct. 26 reported a lone black cow on Shoreline Highway. The cow is two miles south of Marshall Store just past the Giacomini Ranch. They send a foreman who thought the cow might belong to the Borello’s or the Doherty’s. Cow gone on arrival of deputy.

 

Posted Friday Oct 27, 2006 -------- MUIR BEACH – A resident at 1:29 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 reported his mailbox and the mail inside was stolen from in front of his residence. Deputy advised.

MUIR BEACH – Highway Patrol at 2:41 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 reported a vehicle over the embankment on Shoreline Highway about three miles from Tam junction. Vehicle was about 150 feet down. A van with seven people onboard missed a tight turn and came to rest in thick brush. Firefighters from Muir Beach Volunteers, Stinson Beach Volunteer, Marin County Fire and Southern Marin FPD helped the passengers up the hillside with an elaborate rope and pulley system. All seven were transported to Marin General Hospital for evaluation. Only two had minor injuries.

TOMALES – A storekeeper at 5:11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 reported a disheveled man had been hanging out next door. Customers reported to storekeeper the man had relieved himself on the side of the building and appeared to be drunk. Deputy was unable to locate.

BOLINAS – A resident at 11:28 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25 reported aerial fireworks two doors north. Upon arrival of Deputy all was quiet. Nothing suspicious observed.

TOMALES – A resident at 1:10 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 26 reported a black cow on Shoreline  Highway on the fog line two miles north of Sonoma County line. Another resident checked from county line south and was unable to locate any animal on roadway.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 7:49 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 reported that her ex-boyfriend had assaulted her. She reported he was still in the house. Deputies responded and arrested the ex-boyfriend.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 4:18 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 24 requested advice about a neighbor who is letting underage juveniles drink alcohol at his home. Deputies will follow-up with the involved parties.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 12:27 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported a loud party of juveniles across the street. All was quiet on arrival of Deputy.

BOLINAS – A woman at 12:53 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported an unknown man tried to punch her in the face. Subsequently she was thrown out of the bar. She was hysterical and unable to provide much information. She did not require medical aid. Report taken.

BOLINAS – A resident of Wharf Road at 4:45 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported somebody trying to break in. Resident said they have taken the screen off and are trying to open the window. Resident warned the men that he had called the Sheriff. The men told the resident they were trying to get in to get warm. Deputy responded from the north county.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 11:11 a.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported a possibly homeless man dragging a sleeping bag towards the school. Deputy had already made contact with man who said he was headed north on Highway One. Deputy returns and finds man is still walking north on Shoreline Highway.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported to CHP a motorcyclist down with a possible shoulder injury. Vehicle and patient are off the roadway. Marin Fire and CHP dispatched to render assistance.

ONE MITCHELL ROAD, RODEO BEACH – A man at 3:06 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported two swimmers caught in the riptide off the beach. They are about 75 yards off the beach and going sideways with each wave. Caller reported one swimmer was not wearing a wetsuit. Swimmers finally landed at the beach.

WOODACRE – A resident at 5:53 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported a barking dog. The resident reported the dog was barking  non-stop. Deputy made contact with another neighbor who said the dog owners were on vacation. They said the dog will stop barking if told to be quiet. They were not bothered by the barking. Deputy left a copy of the barking dog ordinance to be given to the dog owners.

OLEMA – A storekeeper at 6:08 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported a possibly drunk man bothering her customers. She said the man is yelling and swearing but is not violent. This is the same man a Deputy had contact with earlier in the day. Deputy revisited the man and determined he was not drunk. Man moved along by Deputy.

SAN GERAMINO – A resident at 6:22 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22 reported a 40rty-ish man on a bicycle carrying a duffel bag harassed his 16-year old daughter. Man followed youth when she left the school grounds.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 11:17 p.m. Sunday, Oct 22 reported a guest at a party last night had taken a laptop computer valued at $1500. Report taken.

INVERNESS PARK -- A woman at 4:24 p.m. Saturday, Oct.21 reported a 15-year old girl with a bee sting had an allergic reaction. She was experiencing difficulty swallowing. They were located on a trail off Limantour Road. She was transported to Kaiser.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 10:36 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 reported loud music from a wedding party at a Shoreline Highway restaurant. Resident said Deputy should have no problem hearing the music. Deputy made contact at a restaurant to learn the band quit playing at 11 p.m. just prior to Deputy’s arrival.

BOLINAS – A resident at 11:55 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21 reported a group of people in front of Smiley’s bar threw fireworks under her car as she drove past. Deputy made contact with eight folks at Smiley’s who were cooperative but said they heard fireworks down by the beach.

FOREST KNOLLS – A resident at 12:36 p.m. Friday, Oct. 20 reported workers from a neighbor’s were dumping debris on his road. The neighbor’s house is undergoing repairs after a fire. This is an ongoing dispute between these two neighbors. Deputy gave advice.

OLEMA – A caller at 6:53 p.m. Thursday, Oct.19 reported some loose cows on Shoreline Highway. A black steer with green tags was described. Rancher located who was enroute to corral the cows.

OLEMA – A caller at 7:41 a.m. Thursday, Oct 19 reported a calf with a green tag alongside Shoreline Highway. Deputy spoke with one rancher who will check to see if it is one of theirs. When Deputy arrived calf was gone.

Posted 10:30 am Friday Oct 20 -------- TOMALES – A passerby at 7:05 p.m. Wednesday Oct. 18 reported an apparently “homeless” man lying in eastbound lane of the Tomales-Petaluma Road one mile from Highway One. Passerby stopped at Diekmann’s store, Tomales, to make the call. Fire dispatched but no medical aid needed. No crimes.

BOLINAS – A resident at 9:30 p.m. Tuesday Oct 17 reported threats made by her ex-husband. Th recently divorced couple was at war over ownership of the dog. She reported her ex-husband called from his cell phone – location unknown. Deputy advised.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 12:31 a.m. Monday Oct.16 reported an unknown woman came into his house and lay down on his couch. He reported she needs medical attention and appeared to be confused. Fire department dispatched for medical aid.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 7:55 p.m. Sunday Oct 15 reported a cow on the east side of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. Highway Patrol dispatched but unable to locate errant cow.

LAGUNITAS – A local realtor at 6:03 pm Sunday Oct.15 reported a missing lock box. Report taken. Realtor requested extra patrols because of the missing keys.

BOLINAS – A resident at 7:22 p.m. Saturday Oct.14 reported a loud party. A neighbor was celebrating his 50th birthday with about 100 close friends. Deputy determined the noise was not unreasonable at that time of the evening. Deputy advised the party host of a complaint and checked the noise level later in the evening.

BOLINAS – A resident at 8:51 pm, Saturday Oct. 14 reported juveniles recklessly driving, spinning around the parking area doing donuts and smashing bottles. The resident was unable to describe and Deputy was unable to locate.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 9:15 p.m. Saturday Oct. 14 reported a loud party with a live band. Deputy arrived as a wedding celebration  ended.  The music had already stopped. Deputy spoke with host who promised no more music or other noise.

MARSHALL – A resident at 9:54 a.m. Saturday Oct 14 reported a vehicle off the road into a ditch. The resident reported a damaged fence on Shoreline Highway south of Clark. The resident said the driver was possibly drunk. Highway Patrol dispatched. CHP advised that driver was drunk.

WOODACRE – A resident at 10:57 a.m. Saturday Oct. 14 reported a barking dog. She said the dog was vocal for a few hours today. She said this is an ongoing problem. On arrival of Deputy the dog was not barking. Deputy advised resident about citation process.

SAN GERONIMO – A resident at 5:43 p.m. Saturday Oct. 14 reported hearing a couple screaming in a car nearby. The resident said she does not know the couple. A crying woman told the resident her husband had beaten her. Deputy responded.

BOLINAS – A resident at 6:02 p.m. Saturday Oct.14 requested extra patrols on the beach. She reported an unusual amount of people on the beach drinking.

BOLINAS – A resident at 9:45 p.m. Friday Oct. 13 reported loud music playing for the past hour. Deputy made contact with a group of adults outside a residence, talking loudly. They were advised of the complaint. They were cooperative and agreed to take it inside.

INVERNESS – A resident at 1:55 p.m. Friday Oct. 13 requested advice on using a public address system for a large function she was planning. Deputy advised of county ordinances.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 5:36 p.m. Friday Oct. 13 reported that his street is blocked off to parking this weekend and some porta-potties were placed in front of his home. Resident wants to know what is going on and do they have a permit? Deputy advised.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 4:41 a.m. Thursday Oct. 12 reported someone in her house. She thinks intruder followed the cat in. She reported her son is in the house with her. Deputies respond code three. Resident’s son doesn’t think there were any intruders in the house. He thinks his mother had a dream.

MARSHALL – A resident at 4:59 p.m. Thursday Oct 12 reported pair of black cows on roadway. Deputy rounded up two calves and pushed them into gated field.

BOLINAS – A resident at 5:06 p.m. Thursday Oct. 12 reported two drunk men 50-60-years old in front of the library. When Deputy arrived there were numerous people who fit the basic description. Deputy was unable to locate.

 


Posted noon, Friday Oct 13, 2006 -------- POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 9:07 p.m. Wednesday reported her daughter’s ex-husband is at her home and angry. He pulled the phone out of the wall and left. Deputy advised.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 11:34 p.m. Wednesday reported his uncle was hitting his aunt. The resident was baby-sitting a 5-year old and concerned. The aunt refused medical attention. Deputy completed a felony spousal abuse report.

POINT REYES STATION – The daughter-in-law (from the 9:07 p.m. incident) at 12:18 a.m. Wednesday reported her ex-husband had returned from her mother’s. She reported he smacked her on the face with an open fist. She reported he was intoxicated. She declined medical attention. Deputy completed a felony spousal abuse report.

NICASIO – A resident of Hicks Valley Road at 7:39 p.m. last Sunday reported he located a marijuana grow on his ranch. There were 35 plants and resident thought there had been harvesting. Deputy advised resident to stay away. Sheriff’s Task Force assigned  to remove the plants.

BOLINAS – A resident of Brighton Ave at 3:19 p.m. last Sunday reported that someone has set up a large BBQ and what appears to be a still on push carts at the end of the road. She was unable to give a description of the folks except that one is playing a violin – very poorly. Contact made with folks who agreed to move the carts. No record of what happened to the violin player.

SAN GERANIMO – A resident at 6:24 p.m. last Sunday reported a locked shed entered. Construction tools taken valued at $1000. Deputy completed a burglary report.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 8:29 p.m. last Saturday reported a neighbor has “gone crazy” throwing things around. The resident described him as a thin man with long brown hair, with no shirt or pants. The resident suspected a drug-induced outburst. Deputies are unable to locate.

POINT REYES STATION – A bartender at 9:24 p.m. last Saturday reported a man who refused to leave the bar. Bartender says the man was drunk. A few minutes later the bartender called back to report the man left the bar and was standing at the front door. Bartender requested a deputy to let the man know he was not welcome inside. She will call back if he returns.

BOLINAS – A resident at 11:42 p.m. last Saturday reported a loud party and music. He requested the music be turned down a bit. Deputy made contact with a wedding party. They were cooperative and turned the music down.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 11:42 p.m. last Saturday reported a loud party nearby. The party group of 30-40 was all adults. Deputy contacted party host who agreed to end the live band.

BOLINAS – A visitor at the Wharf at 1:10 a.m. last Sunday reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and a duffel bag taken. Deputy completed a burglary report.

OLEMA – A rider at 2:42 p.m. last Saturday called 911 from her cell phone to report her companion was bucked off his horse. He was conscious and breathing but was very disoriented. They were on the Bolinas Ridge trail and headed towards Olema. Fire units met the couple and transported the injured man to the hospital.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 6:06 p.m. last Saturday requested extra patrols on Shoreline Highway near the school. She reported numerous reckless drivers and speeders while kids are going to and from school. Deputies will make extra patrols in the school area.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 1:49 a.m. last Saturday reported two cows on Shoreline Highway. The cows were not on the roadway itself but ambling alongside. Resident also reported the location of the hole in the fence. Call referred to Highway Patrol.

BOLINAS – A resident at 7:39 a.m. last Friday called for advice about a neighbor. The neighbor was just released from jail for threatening another neighbor. This resident was concerned for her safety. Deputy advised.

BOLINAS – A resident of Shoreline Highway at 11:52 a.m. last Friday reported a neighbor came over and threatened her with a hook-type object. Deputy advised.

DILLON BEACH – A landlord at 2:04 p.m. last Friday reported her tenants told her that an unknown person had tampered with the front door lock. There was no apparent entry. Deputy advised.

TOMALES – A resident at 8:22 a.m. last Thursday reported a homeless man sleeping outside the town hall. She reported a window in the downstairs rear was opened. Another neighbor had told her the homeless person was female. Deputy checked the area but was unable to locate.

HICKS VALLEY – A motorist on the Pt. Reyes-Petaluma Road at 10:51 a.m. last Thursday reported a homeless man walking in the roadway west of McEvoy Ranch. He was described pushing a little cart and disoriented. Deputy made contact with a homeless man walking to San Francisco. He was given directions. No criminal violation.

NICASIO – A resident at 1:25 p.m. last Thursday requested a welfare check on a neighbor. The man was overdue for an appointment. She described the man as a little scary, a heavy drinker and a Viet Vet who doesn’t like trespassers. Deputy made contact with the man.

LAGUNITAS –A resident at 6:06 p.m. last Thursday reported loud drumming for the past two-three hours. Resident reported noise has now subsided. Deputy responded and spoke to the drummer who rents the music studio. He said he had quit playing.

WOODACRE – A resident at 6:35 p.m. last Thursday reported a vehicle alarm blaring for the past two hours. She believed the owner of the vehicle left today for an out of town trip. When Deputy arrived the car alarm was not sounding.

TOMALES -- A passerby at 8:06 p.m. Tuesday reported a vehicle rollover about a mile south of Walker Creek and north of Nick’s Cove on Shoreline Highway. Highway Patrol on scene reported minor injuries.

MUIR WOODS -- A maintenance worker at 9:16 a.m. Tuesday reported a burglary on Muir Woods Road. A pump house adjacent to a volley ball court was forced open and coils of electrical wire of unknown value were missing.

NICASIO -- A resident at 2:15 p.m. Monday reported that his ex-girlfriend’s mother called his cell phone and last night at 8:30 pm and said, “I’ll just come to your house and personally stab [your family].” Report taken.

NICASCIO – An employee at 2:30 p.m. Monday of Skywalker Ranch reported a physical assault and death threats by another employee. She had talked with her supervisor who has not done anything. Report taken.

BOLINAS – A resident at 2:54 p.m. Monday reported that her neighbor had frightened her and her young daughter. The resident reported the neighbor was driving recklessly and spraying dust and gravel on her young daughter. Advice given.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 1:12 a.m. Monday reported a man screaming and yelling at her. Deputy made contact with the man who says the woman got into an argument with him. Man says the woman was mouthing off to him

POINT REYES STATION – A motorist at 2:07 a.m. Monday reported a car off the road and into a tree. When fire units arrived they reported car parts all over the roadway with the engine in the middle of the road. Highway Patrol called. Fire Units report driver had back injuries and was transported to hospital.

BOLINAS – A woman at 7:12 a.m. Sunday reported a domestic assault that occurred the previous Wednesday.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 2:14 p.m. Sunday reported a tent with debris including toilet paper in an area adjacent to Tomales Bay. Resident was concerned about bay pollution. National Park Service Rangers check the area but are unable to locate. They are familiar with this encampment from last year.

DILLON BEACH – A motorist at 3:46 p.m. Sunday reported a motorcyclist down. Motorcycle was in the ditch, driver was conscious but injured. Fire units, ambulance and CHP were dispatched. 

MUIR BEACH – A resident at 5:41 p.m. Sunday reported three dogs barking. Resident reported this was an ongoing problem. A deputy spoke with dog owners last night. Dogs constantly bark when neighbors not home.

NICASIO – A resident at 6:38 p.m. Sunday reported her husband hit her with a piece of meat. She told the dispatcher there were no weapons in residence except the piece of meat. She said this has happened before. She did not require medical attention.

BOLINAS – A woman at 9:15 p.m. last Saturday reported she was the victim of a robber earlier in the day in Bolinas. She requested Deputies respond to take a report. When Deputy interviewed her the story changed to theft from her purse. Her story led the Deputy to believe she needed more than her wallet back.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 10:22 p.m. last Saturday reported loud music coming from the Green Barn on Mesa Road. He says this is an ongoing problem. Deputy found a large quincerio party with several hundred people. The barn was rented for the supervised party. Deputy told the party to end at 11:30 p.m. The music was turned way down. Deputy remained in the area to monitor the noise level.

MUIR BEACH – A resident at 11:05 last Saturday reported three dogs on the neighbor’s deck barking for the past 12 hours. The homeowner was not home. Neighbors arrived home prior to arrival of the Deputy and put the dogs inside. The neighbors were informed of the complaint.

POINT REYES STATION – A motorist at 8:35 a.m. last Friday reported a cow loose on Shoreline Highway. Deputy returned the cow to the pasture.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 3:22 pm last Friday reported paycheck stolen on July 7 and cashed in Petaluma. The incident is being investigated by Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

INVERNESS PARK – A resident of Sir Francis Drake Blvd at 8:38 pm Thursday reported a couple of people to the rear of Perry’s Deli are selling marijuana. Resident couldn’t supply any further information. Deputy was unable to locate any subjects in the area.

LAGUNITAS – A passerby at 9:19 p.m. Thursday reported what appeared to be a very intoxicated man in his 50’s with long hair and beard lying on the shoulder of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. He said the man wants directions to Point Reyes so he can walk there. Highway Patrol was unable to locate.

WOODACRE – A resident at 3:34 a.m. Thursday hears water running at her neighbor’s. She said no one should be there because the home is undergoing renovation. Deputy shuts off water outlet on the outside.

BOLINAS – A resident at 10:02 am Wednesday reported a man sitting in front of the Bolinas library talking to himself and drinking an unknown liquid from a bottle. The resident provides said the man was wearing a bathrobe and baseball cap. Deputy had just done a foot patrol of area and did not see the man.

TOMALES – Tomales High School employees at 10:22 a.m. Wednesday reported two female youths in a fight. Fight is over and youths were cooperative. Deputy arrived in less than five minutes. One young woman arrested and booked into Marin County Jail for assault.

WOODACRE – A resident at 1:43 p.m. Wednesday reported that construction workers at her neighbor’s damaged her tree. She requested advice on how to handle.

MARSHALL – A passerby at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday reported a motorcycle vs. deer crash on Shoreline Highway. Passerby reports that motorcyclist was wearing a helmet but had hand injuries and was feeling faint. Both motorcyclist and driver were on the side of road but not blocking roadway. Nothing recorded about the deer.

NICASIO – A resident at 7:08 p.m. last Saturday reported a horrific crash in front of his residence on Nicasio Valley Road. Highway Patrol notified. Highway Patrol investigating another crash nearby. The roadway was blocked. CHP requests an emergency ambulance. 

BOLINAS – A resident at 7:01 pm last Sunday reported kids on motorbikes going up and down Olema- Bolinas Road all day. Resident said kids are too young to have licenses. Deputy was unable to locate.

STINSON BEACH – CalTrans at 8:30 a.m. Monday calls to let MCSO that they will be doing roadwork on Highway 1 near the Zen Center for the next two months.

POINT REYES STATION – A business owner at 10:13 a.m. last Sunday reported a cardboard box burned over night on the sidewalk near his restaurant. The box, with lots of cigarettes and a lighter, was away from buildings. Deputies conclude there was no merit to an arson attempt. Night shift deputies alerted.

DILLON BEACH – A man at 8 p.m. Saturday reported his father was to meet him in Sebastopol today and didn’t show. A phone call to a 415-878-xxxx  number was unanswered.

STINSON BEACH –An anonymous man at 8:23 p.m. last Saturday reported two bonfires with loud people in the area. Deputy contacted a group of firewatchers. They agreed to put out the fire.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 8:24 p.m. last Saturday reported a loud party with music for the last three hours. Deputy contacted the party animals who put the fire out and left without incident.

WOODACRE – A resident at 11:22 p.m. last Saturday reported a loud party across the creek from her residence. She called back a few minutes later to say she no longer hears the party. Problem abated prior to arrival of Deputy who was unable to locate.

TOMALES – A walk-in to the fire station at 1:19 a.m. last Sunday reported a roll over probably caused by fog. Volunteer firefighters to do a welfare check. Highway Patrol had delayed response due to heavy fog and long distance.

WOODACRE – A resident of Castle Rock Road at 2:02 a.m. Last Sunday reported hearing a crash. The resident reported that stacks of wood were put out in the area to stop kids from racing . Resident reported the sound of the wood stacks crunching. She could also hear tires screeching. Deputy was unable to locate any vehicles or damage to wood in roadway.

DILLON BEACH – A camper 8:39 a.m. last Saturday at Lawson’s Landing had some items stolen from her campsite. She said she also found a cell phone with suspicious pictures of people holding guns and contraband. She met the Deputy at the office to file a grand theft report.

WOODACRE – A resident at 11:47 a.m. last Saturday wanted advice about throwing out her adult child’s belongings.  She was worried about retaliation. Deputy gave advice.

TOMALES – County Fire at 12:52 p.m. last Saturday reported an unruly fan threatening the opposing team at the Tomales High School Homecoming Football Game. Firefighters gave a description and reported they could see no weapons. They reported he was continuing to yell profanities at the coach.

TOMALES – Tomales High School officials at 2:05 p.m. Saturday reported another unruly fan at homecoming game. Contact made at the football field. Obstreperous fan is a youth. Deputies conclude no merit to second call.

TOMALES – A Shoreline Highway resident at 9:34 p.m. last Friday reported an abusive phone call from a hunting club member – he threatened to come and get her. Resident was terrified. She reported the hunting club has permission to cross her property to hunt.

BOLINAS – Highway Patrol at 9:47 p.m. last Friday arrested a motorist on Terrace Ave. for driving under the influence. Motorist booked into Marin County jail.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 10:29 p.m. last Friday reported excessive noise from generators. Resident will meet Deputy. Problem abated.

TOMALES – 8:18 am, A resident at 8:18 a.m. last Friday reported two large black cows on road. There was an open gate. Resident said problem was ongoing. Highway Patrol notified.

MARSHALL – A resident at 10:26 a.m. last Friday reported fraudulent long distance phone calls made against his accounts. He said this had occurred a few months ago. The fraudulent calls started up again. Deputies took a report.

WOODACRE – A resident at 10:49 p.m. Wednesday reported she heard a thumping noise on her porch. She hadn’t seen anything and was afraid to look outside. She believed her ex is on the porch. She has a restraining order against him. Deputies advised.

TOMALES – Deputy out at 2 a.m. Thursday with an injured deer on Estero Road and Franklin School Road. Deer had significant injuries, deer dispatched.

NICASIO – Resident at 2:57 a.m. Thursday reported hearing gunshots and see lights on the hill. She thinks it is a deer poacher. She says last night there also were shots that resulted in a deer shooting. Deputies advise.

INVERNESS – Deputies at 12:57 p.m. Wednesday served a warrant served at a residence on Wharf road, Man booked on two Sonoma County warrants.

INVERNESS PARK – 9/20, Resident at 1:41 p.m. Wednesday reported ongoing dog barking problem. Deputy spoke with neighbor who will talk with dog owner and give her the Deputy’s business card. Complaintant was not available.

POINT REYES STATION – Resident at 5:25 p.m. Wednesday reported a car driven by a juvenile recklessly nearly ran down an elderly male. Deputies received description of vehicle and juvenile.

POINT REYES – Resident at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday reported a milk truck in the ditch and blocking the Sir Francis Drake Blvd at Pierce Point Road. Driver is uninjured and standing alongside the rig. One trailer upright, the other tipped over.

INVERNESS – A resident at 8:50 a.m. Monday reported their nine-year old son was approached by man on a motorcycle and asked to go for a ride. Youngster declined. Incident occurred yesterday. Description was taken, but no further info for report.

POINT REYES STATION – A visitor at 9:15 a.m. Monday reported items taken from her vehicle while parked a restaurant. Her wallet, keys, checkbook were missing but there were no signs of forced entry. Deputies conclude no merit to burglary report.

STINSON BEACH – Resident at 8:34 p.m. Sunday reported a possible burglary occurred on the previous Monday. No report made at that time. Resident gave pertinent information about a suspect.

INVERNESS PARK – Resident at 9:29 am, Sunday, reported heavy-duty construction with tractors ongoing next door. That homeowner advised of noise limits on Sunday. He will stop construction today. No further action.

WOODACRE – Resident at 4:38 p.m. Sunday reported a specialized kids bike valued at $150 was taken from his front car deck. Resident located the bike nearby and recovered it.

OLEMA – Passerby at 5:58 p.m. Sunday reported a group of five motorcycles recklessly driving, speeding and had just crossed the double yellows to pass a row of cars. CHP advised.

WOODACRE – A resident at 6:46 pm Sunday reported a neighbor using a leaf blower and making a huge amount of dust. Resident has lung problems and the dust is bothering her. She would like the leaf blower to stop. Deputy advised.

NICASIO – A motorist at 6:59 p.m. Sunday reported two motorcyclists threatening each other at Nicasio Square. Each says they have a gun. Motorist was not sure of gun possession. One motorcyclist said to the other I’m going to shoot you. Deputies are unable to locate.

BOLINAS – Resident at 8:48 p.m. last Saturday reported a woman on drugs and acting insane is on his property. He reported a neighbor is trying to tie her up. The woman had broken windows at the neighbor’s. Deputies advised to not tie her up to prevent injuries. Neighbor will sit on her instead.

INVERNESS – A resident at 10:34 am, last Saturday reported a dog inside a parked jeep and one tied up outside without water. Dogs barking. Resident can see a license on one dog. He suspects the dog owner is on a run. Humane called.

TOMALES – a kayaker at 12:02 p.m. last Saturday reported 6-10 people on the end of Estero Road were shooting across the water at some propane tanks. He was concerned someone will accidentally shoot a kayaker coming around the bend.

NICASIO – Hicks Valley Fire at 7:49 pm last Friday reported a large dead deer in roadway was a traffic hazard. Highway Patrol will handle.

POINT REYES STATION – Resident at 10:54 p.m. last Friday reported a grey pony walking on Shoreline Highway. CHP advised. Resident said the barn door was open and he would attempt to secure the pony. Highway advises they will have a 40-minute delay. When they arrived they were unable to locate the pony.

BOLINAS – Three Sonoma County detectives and one Sgt. last Thursday meet with Marin Deputy to serve a search warrant on a residence. One man arrested for sex crimes and booked into Sonoma County Jail.

NICASIO – Marin County Road crew at 8:52 a.m. last Thursday reported an irate motorist used his vehicle to bump into a crewmember and run over traffic cones. Motorist then left the area. Vehicle description and license plate number forwarded to Highway Patrol.

BOLINAS – Resident at 3:10 p.m. last Thursday reported loud music by the benches in front of the church. Deputy was unable to locate the offenders.

POINT REYES STATION – Resident at 7:24 p.m. last Thursday requested a welfare check on an elderly man in a silver Chevy. After a bit of driving around, Deputy located the man. He was counseled and will no longer be driving his vehicle.

STINSON BEACH – A resident reported at 8:53 p.m. Wednesday the housecleaners she hired in the past entered her house while she wasn’t home. Deputies will watch her home for suspicious cars and notify resident.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 8:48 p.m. Tuesday reported a possible burglary. Access gained by entering an unlocked door. Resident just discovered tools missing, but recalls seeing them two weeks ago. Resident calls back with apologies to report no crime, since he had misplaced tools and since has found them.

INVERNESS – A resident at 10:46 p.m. Tuesday reported hearing two-dozen gunshots in the last five minutes. Possibly coming from on Tomales Bay. She reported nothing else heard. A few minutes later resident reported hearing more gunshots.

STINSON BEACH – a resident at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday reported unknown persons were seen at his home while an unknown car was in driveway. When resident returned a few minutes later, no people or car seen. The resident found a load of laundry in washer/dryer. No other signs of burglary to main house and no property missing.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 4:32 p.m. Monday reported that someone is cutting down one of his trees. The tree cutter, a neighborhood man, was arrested for vandalism.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 8:37 a.m. Monday reported the front and back gates to her garden were broken off. A black tee-shirt was left behind.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 4:15 p.m. Monday reported a neighbor swerved a vehicle at him while he was walking along the road. Neighbor lives five houses up the road. This is an ongoing dispute between families. Resident said neighbor is a marijuana grower and the dispute arises from an incident when neighbor accused resident’s children of tampering with pot crop.

BOLINAS – Deputies at 12:50 a.m. Monday received a phone call from Wharf Road about someone fighting with others, who is out of control and being held down on a bench. Caller gave Deputies a name from a credit card taken from the fighter. When Deputies arrived fighter was gone from the area.

STINSON BEACH – A woman at 7:05 a.m. Sunday reported that she was being held captive by a man who was drinking and using marijuana all night. He physically restrained her when she tried to leave. He was awake and aware that the woman was on the phone with Sheriff’s Office.

INVERNESS – A resident at 9:44 a.m. Saturday reported an egg smashed on his car window sometime Friday night. Later phone call by resident said he cleaned up the egg mess and was unwilling to say who he thought smashed the egg.

WOODACRE – A resident at 2:53 p.m. Sunday reported her partner hit her during an argument. She reported he was out all night drinking. When she asked where he had been he became belligerent. She was unsure if the blow was intentional. Deputy advised.

BOLINAS – A resident of Brighton Way at 6:32 p.m. Sunday reported a bonfire on the beach. Fire builders had gathered wood from resident’s front yards along the Mesa. Fire builders had outstanding warrants and received a free ride to the lockup.

STINSON BEACH – A resident of Calle Del Sierra at 12:47 a.m. Sunday reported a loud party. Deputy made contact with a party of adults. Party moved inside.

BOLINAS – An anonymous person on Brighton Ave. at 9:26 p.m. last Saturday reported an unknown number of people yelling for the past hour. Caller reported the screamers sounded intoxicated. Responding Deputy delayed, when Deputy arrived screamers had already left the area.

BOLINAS – A resident of Wharf Road at 9:48 p.m. last Saturday reported an unknown woman was sitting on her porch. The gate was open and this unknown woman was inside the gate. When Deputy arrived he arrested a woman for being intoxicated in public.

BOLINAS – A resident of Wharf Road at 11:03 p.m. last Saturday complained of loud music coming from a reggae party. Deputy made contact with the manager of the establishment. The establishment had a permit for this party good until 1 am. Manager will turn down the volume.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 8:41 a.m. last Saturday reported a burglary. Someone entered through a locked patio door. A mini-DVD player and about 30 children’s DVDs taken. Resident had another similar incident last week.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 10:55 a.m. last Saturday reported that his neighbor the night before assaulted him by throwing him on the ground and grabbing at him. No weapons were used. Neighbors have a continuing dispute complete with threats.

DILLON BEACH – A man at 10:56 a.m. last Saturday reported that he needed assistance controlling his very drunk girlfriend. He said he is unable to control her and she wants to leave the residence. Deputy advised.

BOLINAS – A resident of Brighton Ave. at 9:36 p.m. last Friday reported a small group of mostly women making a lot of noise, yelling and screaming. Deputy contacted a group on beach and they agreed to leave the beach area for the night. No further action taken.

OLEMA – A father reported at 11:29 a.m. last Friday that he and his 16-year old daughter got into an argument while driving her to school. He made her get out of the car and hasn’t seen her since. Deputies advised.

MARSHALL – Deputies at 7:50 p.m. last Thursday contacted two men sitting in a car in a pullout along Shoreline Highway. The men had no valid excuse for being in the area. Vehicle description matched a vehicle associated with marijuana growing activity nearby. Men had no warrants and no illegal activity observed. No further action.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 12:58 a.m. last Friday wanted to know if the extra patrol she read about in Sheriff’s Calls online could be related to her call of a few days earlier. She was advised to call back in the morning so substation beat book can be checked for extra patrols.

TOMALES – A civilian security guard at Two Rock Coast Guard Station at 6:33 a.m. last Friday reported that numerous vehicles and people were seen at their gate to the USCG “shooting at one another.” A USCG officer followed one of the vehicles southbound on Chileno Valley Road. Deputy found the vehicle pulled over farther down the road. Driver was intoxicated but had no weapons. Driver earned a ride to Marin County Jail.

WOODACRE – A resident at 8:36 p.m. last Wednesday reported a barking dog. Resident reported that problems with this dog go back over a year. Resident said dog barked all day and she wanted to file a formal complaint. Deputy talked with dog owner who is aware of dog’s excessive barking. He has purchased a shock collar to remedy the problem. Deputy advised resident of dog’s owner’s actions.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident called at 12:13 p.m. Monday to request extra patrol during nighttime hours for the next 30 days. She said someone has been watching her at night through her windows. She found cigarette butts under the window.

BOLINAS – A passing motorist at 12:14 p.m. Monday reported a bicyclist vs. vehicle crash. Bicyclist had shoulder and face injuries but was conscious and breathing. Victim transported for medical treatment. Highway Patrol dispatched to meet with motorist. CHP was unable to locate vehicle at 12:25 p.m.

BOLINAS – A resident at 6:50 p.m. Monday reported a fistfight in progress on Brighton Ave. Caller said two males in fight, and both had been drinking. No weapons seen. Call taker hears yelling in background.

STINSON BEACH – A Francisco Patio resident at 9:36 pm Sunday reported a large bonfire and eight party animals. Deputy made contact with the party. They were cooperative and extinguished fire immediately. No further action taken.

BOLINAS – An Elm Road resident at 9:47 p.m. Sunday reported a loud party for the past three hours. Resident reported the music was loud and wanted it turned down. Another resident called about the same party and the loud music. Deputies encounter loud music audible from the roadway. Deputy made contact, loud music ended.

POINT REYES STATION – A Mesa Road resident at 10:29 pm Sunday reported loud music with a live band. Deputy made contact with the responsible party host who said the band had just stopped playing and partygoers left. Party host admonished about noise ordinances.

BOLINAS – Deputies at 10:34 p.m. Sunday served a $10,000 felony warrant on a cooperative subject. Deputies gave him a free ride to the jail.

DILLON BEACH – A camper at 10:53 p.m. Sunday reported a male vs. female fight at Lawson’s Landing. Camper reported a gun may be involved. Another camper says two possibly, three fighters, two males and one female.

MUIR BEACH – A Shoreline Highway resident at 8:10 a.m. Sunday reported an unknown male nude from waist down came onto property and went into his guesthouse. Resident reported he gave the intruder pants and sent him on his way.

MUIR BEACH – A different resident at 3:27 p.m. Sunday reported an adult male with no clothes carrying rocks on his property. The resident reported the unknown male seemed aggressive and appeared to be pacing. Park Police on scene did a welfare check. No Deputy required.

MUIR BEACH – A Shoreline Highway resident at 11:29 p.m. Sunday reported an unknown male asleep in his guesthouse. The resident reported the sleeper was on the property earlier today. Resident tried to awaken sleeper, but no luck. Deputies made contact.

STINSON BEACH – A resident of Francisco Patio at 12:05 a.m. Monday reported the bonfire is back. Resident reported that when Deputy left party animals relit the bonfire.

BOLINAS – A woman at 8:01 a.m. Sunday reported her husband beat her and her friend a half-hour ago. The man then left to go to Mill Valley. Deputies were on the lookout for the husband.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 5:04 p.m. Sunday reported three young men screaming at an older guy. Resident said he was watching a fight about to happen. The three young men were males in their 20’s. The victim was in his 50’s. The young men were all in front of the store yelling names at the victim. Resident reported no weapons seen.

SAN GERANIMO – A resident at 6:54 p.m. Sunday reported seeing a mountain lion in her backyard. She said she just saw the female cat eat dinner. Deputy referred matter to Humane.

STINSON BEACH – A resident on last Saturday reported there is a blond, thin man who is drunk refusing to leave the her property. The man was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

BOLINAS – A resident at 8:18 p.m. last Saturday reported her 10-ft Walker Bay dinghy was stolen from the Bolinas Rod and Gun club dock on the lagoon.

DILLON BEACH – A resident reported at 9:07 p.m. last Saturday a large bonfire on the beach with drum accompaniment. Deputies contacted two groups of people who agree to put out fires.

DILLON BEACH – The same resident at 10:25 p.m. last Saturday reported the huge bonfire is on again. Resident assisted Deputy in locating the fire.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 10:36 pm, last Saturday reported fireworks going off on the beach for the past 15 minutes. Deputy was delayed by 15 minutes and was unable to locate people or fireworks on beach.

DILLON BEACH – A different resident at 10:40 p.m. last Saturday reported bonfires on the beach. The resident was frustrated since the bonfires were reported on numerous occasions, Deputy dispatched.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident of Mesa Road at 11:19 pm last Saturday reported a loud party going on every weekend at the green barn. Deputy made contact and music turned down.

MARSHALL – A resident last Saturday reported an unknown car is parked nearby. Car reported in same spot where marijuana plants were discovered last week. Resident advised Deputy will conduct a search of the area.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 12:40 p.m. last Saturday requested advice about loud party noise every night. Deputy gave advice to caller, tenants and homeowner – no further action taken.

MARSHALL – A motorist at 4:51 p.m. last Saturday reported a motorboat upside-down in southbound lane. Passersby put flares out for traffic. There was no trailer or vehicle attached to boat. Deputies assisted Highway Patrol with traffic control.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 7:48 p.m. last Friday reported a missing 11-year-old girl at Lawson’s Landing. The girl was missing for two hours. She is a year-round resident. She was with a friend and carried a walkie-talkie but wasn’t answering. The girl is located shortly after report and is safe.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 10:28 p.m. last Friday reported a bonfire on the beach. Another resident reported two more bonfires. Deputies made contact with beach party. Bonfires put out.

BOLINAS – A resident at 1:27 p.m. last Friday wanted advice about a problem with neighbor who is putting junk in her yard and arguing over the trespassing. Deputy makes contact with the neighbor who has a history with the Sheriff’s Office.

DILLON BEACH – A resident at 10:15 p.m. last Friday reported a large bonfire on the beach. Deputy made contact made with fire-starter who agreed to put it out.

INVERNESS PARK – A resident at 11:42 pm Friday reported a loud party nearby, exact location unknown. Deputies made contact with two local men in their own vehicle listening to music. They were both cooperative and agreed to move along.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident of 6th St. at 11:16 p.m. Wednesday reported loud music coming from trailers. Deputy made contact with music players and music stopped.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 5:10 pm, Wednesday reported that her bank advised of fraudulent charges to her account for access to adult websites. There were four separate charges. Deputies took a report for misuse of a credit card number to access a porn site. The victim was reimbursed for her loss by the porn company.

NICASIO – A resident at 6:43 p.m. Wednesday reported a Rottweiller blocking her front door. She couldn’t exit. Marin Humane called but had an extended response. Deputies were unable to locate the dog.

POINT REYES STATION – An elderly male resident along Shoreline Highway at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday was reported with an altered level of consciousness. Victim is transported by ambulance to Marin General Hospital.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 12:09 pm, Tuesday reports an 11-year old child fell out of a tree. The child is agitated but appears OK. Mother reunited with child.

MARSHALL – A resident at 2:13 pm, Tuesday reported a jack-knifed big rig. The 53-foot trailer was about to tip over. The southbound lane was blocked for over an hour. Highway Patrol directed traffic until a tow truck could right the tipsy truck.

NICASIO – A resident reports Tuesday that a silver or grey Lexus was parked in the baseball field parking lot for 7 to 10 days. Resident suspects the vehicle was stolen because the window was down and it was very dirty. Highway Patrol called.

BOLINAS – A resident at 8:38 p.m. Monday reported an unknown Hispanic man was hiding in the back of her house. The man was a boyfriend of a caregiver and not welcome.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 11:11 p.m. Monday reported a hit and run on 6th St. A milk truck backed into her vehicle and then took off. There were no injuries.

MARSHALL – A resident at 11:54 p.m. Monday reported tree branches blocking the southbound lane of Highway 1. Caltrans called.

FOREST KNOLLS – A resident on Sunday wanted advice concerning protesters in Forest Knolls. Resident rode past them on her horse and they spooked the horse. Resident requested advice on how to move them along. Deputy gave advice. Protesters had already left the area.

BOLINAS – A vehicle at 10:59 p.m. Saturday was stopped by Deputies. Erratic driving prompted the traffic stop. Driver arrested for drunken driving.

DILLON BEACH – A camper at 11:02 p.m. Saturday reports that other campers followed him back to his campsite after a verbal altercation. Camper felt threatened. Camper met deputy at his campsite.

LAGUNITAS – A resident at 11:59 p.m. Saturday reports he argued with his friend at 6:30 a.m. while on a run. The friend hasn’t returned home, Friend returns home at 6:43 a.m. safe.

BOLINAS – An anonymous resident at 12:39 a.m. Sunday reported loud music since 2 p.m. All quiet on arrival of Deputy.

POINT REYES STATION – A resident at 2:47 a.m. Sunday reported an ongoing barking dog problem on B St. Deputies spoke to dog owner who agreed to bring the dogs in for the night.

BOLINAS – A resident at 3:10 a.m. Sunday reported a power line down and hearing kids screaming in a house along Mesa Road. PG&E called.

STINSON BEACH – A motorist at 12:38 p.m. last Saturday reported a man masturbating outside a vehicle in a pullout on the ocean side of Shoreline Highway. Description of man and vehicle reported to Deputies.

TOMALES – A resident on last Friday called Deputies because she wanted her grandson out of the house. The grandson, a 15-year old, checks regularly on granny because of her drinking. She had been drinking today. She called back and stated her grandson had left and everything is OK.

BOLINAS – A visitor at 7:17 p.m. last Friday reported a purse stolen from an unlocked vehicle. Purse valued at $40.

BOLINAS – A passerby on Wharf Road at 12:10 a.m. last Saturday reported an 18-year old boy going in and out of consciousness and vomiting, Reported as an ecstasy overdose.

BOLINAS – A resident at 12:45 last Saturday reported camp fires on beach. Deputy advises beachgoers of local ordinance. The group from Petaluma asked for permission to stay until sunup due to poor driving conditions. Deputy agreed.

BOLINAS – A resident at 1:13 a.m. last Saturday reported there was a man stumbling all over the road. He had fallen down a number of times and seemed “out of control” -- throwing himself on the ground. Resident believes subject is not intoxicated.

BOLINAS – A resident at 6:22 p.m. last Friday reported a woman who was being stalked is missing. She went out to smoke a cigarette at 10 p.m. last night and hadn’t returned. The resident reported that a man was recently released from jail for stalking her.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 9:09 p.m. last Thursday reported hearing fireworks. Deputy walked the beach but all was quiet.

STINSON BEACH – A resident at 1:21 a.m. last Friday reported fireworks along Calle Del Arroyo.

BOLINAS – A resident on Brighton Ave. at 10 a.m. last Wednesday reported an ongoing problem with someone working on an older SUV. Resident reported oil dumping in the street. Deputy made contact and concluded there was no merit to report of spilled fluids.

INVERNESS – A resident at 1:37 p.m. last Wednesday reported a two-vehicle accident with some injuries. Tow truck and medical assistance summoned. Highway Patrol had an extended response.

MUIR BEACH – A visitor at 3:41 p.m. last Wednesday requested search and rescue for a missing 25-year old woman. The woman and a friend had taken separate trails and became separated about 9:30 a.m. Rangers responded to the woman’s parents at the Zen center.
